We did manage, however, to take a porta-studio along to a booking just before Christmas (2007) and just left it running. Below is the first section I have had time to export to mp3 (Yes, I know it's autumn 2008 now!).

In the extract from the evening you will hear a dance being taught and the recording of the band playing for the dance after that. It was unrehearsed and you can hear a little of the audience/dancers in the background. The extract is about 11 minutes long so, unless you have broadband, you will have to wait until I have edited some shorter clips. The 'medium quality' version is pretty good so try that one first. Both files are from the same extract.

There will be more extracts from this session as soon as I find the time to edit them and we hope to record other gigs throughout the year.

We do sometimes augment the band and use a drummer. This will increase the quote so you need to specify clearly if you require a drummer.
